La guerrilla di Banksy reinventa Paris Hilton

Irriverente, spassoso e provocatore, pioniere della tecnica dello stencil, è un creativo non-convenzionale da strada che sfrutta lo spazio ovvero qualsiasi superficie per esprimere se stesso ed il mondo che lo circonda. Di lui parlano i muri di Londra, di New York e persino del Medio Oriente.

Questa volta lo street artist Banksy ha rivisitato l’ultimo CD musicale di Paris Hilton. Banksy ha acquistato 500 copie dell’ultimo lavoro di Paris Hilton e ne ha ritoccato l’intero booklet. In queste 500 copie, rimesse in vendita sugli scaffali di 48 diversi negozi musicali in Inghilterra ci sono delle variazioni sull’originale che rendono davvero rare queste copie.

Bansky ha provveduto a ritoccare la foto di Paris Hilton, che ora appare con i seni cadenti, e a rivedere tutta la parte interiore del booklet oltre che ad

aggiungere un nuovo remix realizzato da DJ Dangermouse. Dopo aver compiuto questa azione di guerrilla allo stato puro, Banksy ha completamente rimpacchettato i CD, con tanto di codice a barre, e gli ha rimessi al loro posto sugli scaffali dei negozi nei quali li aveva acquistati.

Non c’è stato nessuno che dopo aver comprato uno dei CD in questione abbia pensato di riportarlo indietro perché evidentemente ritoccato. Al contrario, questi CD da collezione, sono in vendita anche su eBay ad un prezzo che supera di molto quello del CD originale.

Per chi volesse approfondire la propria conoscenza sullo street artist Bansky, oltre al suo sito, è consigliato anche il libro Wall And Piece che raggruppa le sue opere.
